Who is Ryan Souza?
Ryan Souza is originally from São Paulo, Brazil, and started playing in church. His passion for the instrument grew, along with the need to study and learn more about it. That's when he started taking lessons at music schools.
He began his professional career in 2005, playing in dance bands and at graduation parties. In the same year, he also started his career as a music teacher, offering private lessons and teaching at music schools.
He holds a degree in bass from ULM (Universidade Livre de Música - currently EMESP) under the guidance of Professor Sizão Machado, since 2010. In 2015, he specialized in Fusion with Master Mozart Mello at IG&T in São Paulo. He has been a bass teacher since 2005 and now has more than 9,000 students in 25 countries.
